  • CDC Updated Information about Coronavirus Covid-19

    This is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation and CDC will provide updated information as it becomes available, in addition to updated guidance. This page should update as they release new information.

  • Michigan Dept of Health & Human Services COVID-19

    On Feb. 3, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) activated the Community Health Emergency Coordination Center, and it has been working diligently with local health departments, health systems and medical providers to make sure appropriate screening and preparations for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are being made.

  • Masks Required in Indoor Public Spaces

    From the Michigan Library Association: Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed executive order 2020-147, which reiterates that individuals are required to wear a face covering whenever they are in an indoor public space. It also requires the use of face coverings in crowded outdoor spaces. Most significantly, the order requires any business that is open to the public to refuse entry or service to people who refuse to wear a face covering, with limited exceptions. Governor Whitmer signed this executive order in response to rising COVID-19 cases in Michigan and across the country. Executive Order 2020-147 amends and replaces the governor’s previous Executive Order 2020-114.
