Children's Percussion Workshop

Join musician Joe Watts of Electric Moon to have a dynamic, hands-on and fun musical experience learning basic rhythm!
Older children and Teens can hang out after for individualized training with Joe after the workshop for hands-on coaching with the instruments.

Noon Year's Eve Decade Party
Wednesday, December 31st, 10 AM-1 PM
Show up in style from your favorite decade or the decade you reached in our Read Through the Decades challenge.
We will have lots of chances to win prizes, specialty sodas, popcorn, music, board games, yard games, and music bingo.
Door prize winners will be drawn throughout the party. You must be present to win.

Learn to Use the Libby App

This class will cover:
- How to sign up for Libby
- Basic and advanced features

Puzzle Palooza Puzzle Exchange

Bring your complete puzzles to swap for something new to you!

Puzzle Palooza Puzzle Tournament
Saturday, January 10th, 11 AM-2 PM
Your team of up to four puzzlers will race other teams to be the fastest puzzlers in Marcellus! All teams will be doing the same 500 piece puzzle.
Preregistration is required. $10 per team and you keep the puzzle after the event.
Puzzle tournaments require a quiet and focused environment. To ensure an enjoyable experience for all participants, any team disrupting another table will be removed from the competition.

He is a great appreciator of early 20th century American literature!

Making a personal curriculum is a trend on social media. We're going to turn it into a Meet Up!
You decide WHAT you want to learn, HOW you want to learn it, and what the GOAL is.
At our first meeting, we'll learn what a personal curriculum is, how to create your own, and what resources are available through Michigan libraries. Appropriate for ages 16+.

Read Through the Decades
Ongoing through 2025
Register your team of up to 10 readers. All ages encouraged to participate!
Each book read equals 1 year - Track your titles! After each finished book, we will fill in a box to keep track, which will be displayed on the wall for all to see!
Dress as the decade you made it to at our 2025 Noon Year’s Eve Party!
Prizes will be awarded to top achievers during the celebration on December 31st, 2025.
